Gwen, a young musician who has spent the last couple of years living and working in Los Angeles, returns to her Pacific Northwest hometown after a traumatic event, making her reclusive and distant from her father and friends. Boredom and the small town routine further push Gwen into a state of dangerous paranoia; something is after her, something is waiting for her, or something has already gotten its claws on her.

After a trip, literally and figuratively, in the woods, Gwen, her old friend Pearl (Annika Karlsen), her new friend, London (Scott Alonzo), and her father, Micah (Mike Webster), all come into contact with the unraveling Gwen has brought back home with her and the monster (Rodney Genther) that dwells behind it.
